Oil surges 5% as Iran fires rockets at Israel

October 01, 2024 (MLN): Oil surged after Iran fired rockets at Israel, widening the conflict in the Middle East.
Global benchmark Brent jumped almost 5% to climb above $75 a barrel as of 10:25pm on Tuesday. The global crude benchmark plunged almost 17% in the third quarter of 2024.
While West Texas Intermediate (WTI) topped $71 a barrel.
