OGRA issues revised prices for Natural Gas

June 30, 2019 (MLN): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the sale prices and minimum charges in respect of natural gas sold by Sui Southern Gas Company and Sui Northern Gas Company, to various categories of their retail consumers with effect from July 01, 2019.

For domestic sector, the prices have been set at Rs. 121 per MMBTU for up to 0.5 hm^3 per month, Rs. 300 for up to 1 hm^3 per month, Rs. 553 for up to 2 hm^3 per month, Rs. 738 for up to 3 hm^3 per month, Rs. 1,107 for up to 4 hm^3 per month and Rs. 1,460 for above 4 hm^3 per month.'

All establishments registered as commercial units with local authorities or dealing in consumer items will be charged with a flat rate of Rs. 1,283 per MMBTU.

All consumers engaged in the processing of industrial raw material into value added finished products irrespective of the volume of gas consumed will be charged with a flat rate of Rs. 1,021 per MMBTU.
