NPL, SPWL get first installment from power purchaser

January 7, 2022 (MLN): Nishat Power Limited (NPL) and Saif Power Limited (SPWL) have received Rs5.701 billion and Rs3.802bn from the power purchaser in the form of one-third cash, one-third government Ijara Sukuk, and one-third Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs), the company filing on PSX showed on Friday.   

This represents the first installment of 40% of receivables which was earlier due on November 30, 2020, the notifications by respective companies sent to PSX added.
