No change in petroleum prices for the next fifteen days

June 1, 2021 (MLN): Government announced to keep the petroleum prices unchanged for the next fifteen days.

According to the statement issued by Petroleum Ministry, “Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products as they were on May 17th, 2021”.

The government has maintained prices of petroleum products, since April 16, 2021, by adjusting sales tax and petroleum levy so that there is no corresponding increase in the prices of essential items and maximum relief is provided to the common man”,  the statement said.

Price of petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will remain static at Rs108.56 per litre, respectively. Similarly, price of Kerosene oil and Light Diesel will remain stagnant at Rs80 and Rs77.65 per litre, respectively.
