February 20, 2019 (MLN): Nestle Pakistan Limited has recorded a 21% falloff in its half-yearly earnings for the period ended December 31, 2018, which incidentally stand at Rs.11.5 billion (EPS: Rs.254.57), down from a net income of Rs.14.6 billion (EPS: Rs.322.86) recorded for the same period last year.

Owing to a comparatively larger increase in cost of sales than net sales, the company’s gross profits observed a 7.5% slip-off from the gross profit recorded last year.

Apart from this the overall expenses expanded while non-core income declined.

In addition to this, the company has also declared a Final Cash Dividend at Rs.63 per share.
