MTB Auction Result: SBP Sells T-Bills worth Rs.909.08 Billion

July 31, 2019 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) conducted an auction on Wednesday in which it sold T-Bills worth Rs.909.08 Billion for 3,6 and 12 months.

While the auction showed significant participation, the amount offered and accepted was below the auction target of Rs.1,500 Billion.

Cut off Yields remained unchanged for 3 and 6 months at 13.7499 and 13.95 percent while the 12 month yields increased by 14 basis points to 14.24 percent.

The SBP accepted Rs.803.74 billion for 3 months, Rs.32.05 billion for 6 months and Rs.51.70 billion for 12 months.

In addition to the above the SBP also picked up an additional Rs.22.23 Billion from the non-competitive auction making the total accepted amount Rs.909.08 Billion.
