MPCL's shareholders resolve to invest Rs119mn in National Resources Limited

June 25, 2021 (MLN): Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) has passed a special resolution adopted by the shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on June 24, 2021 to invest a sum of Rs119 million to acquire 11.9 million fully paid ordinary shares at face value of Rs10 each, in National Resources (Private) Limited (NRL).

It is pertinent to note that NRL is an associated company of MPCL.

It was further resolved that the Managing Director/CEO MPCL, or any General Manager duly authorized by him, be and is hereby authorized to take all necessary actions and do all acts, deeds and things including execution of documents and agreements for the purposes of implementing the aforesaid resolution.
