Minister Malkani reviews Sindh Agriculture growth project livestock component

Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Muhammad Ali Malkani has stressed upon the SAGP Livestock Component never compromise on quality work and they gear up the efforts for the increase of milk production as the target set up by the World Bank for the implementation of the projects.

This he said while reviewing the Progress of Sindh Agriculture Growth Project SAGP) Livestock Component at his office here today.  Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Sohail Akbar Shah, D.G. Dr. Akbar Soomro, Project Director SAGP Dr. Nazeer Kalhoro and representatives of Plan International (PIC) Saleh Mangi and other officers were also present.

The Minister Livestock has said that the project aimed to provide maximum facilities and benefits to the poor milk growers so that living standard could be ameliorated.  He also maintained that chillers installed at various points through the project must be ensured fully operative and get desired results of the project.

Secretary Livestock Sohail Akbar Shah has directed the Project Director SAGP that maintaining process and coordinated efforts should be ensured so that marking of the project could be increased for the benefit of Milk growers.

He also directed the PIC Plan that they mobilize the social mobilizes and deputed them in designated places for achieving the results and implementation of the project at length. He also exhorted to liaison with Milk Growers and team of the project.  A Review mission of World Bank is also to be arrived in first week of November to review the progress and implementation of the project in detail.
