The markets have witnessed a relatively positive day compared to yesterday; the activity has arisen in today's session. The market is currently trading slightly above 500 points rising by 1.1 percent.

Total volume traded stands at 82.44 million. Trades amount to 39,629.

The markets have witnessed an increased participation from yesterday's situation when the volumes were relatively low due to declining participation of the investors in the market.

Recently, the markets have taken a toll due to the ongoing political noise in the country.

Total value traded till mid-day during in intraday trading stood at 4.71 billion.
