Media Times averts trading suspension: PSX

February 15, 2024 (MLN): Media Times Limited (PSX: MDTL) has successfully rectified its non-compliance with PSX Regulation 5.11.1. (e) by settling outstanding dues with the Exchange. As a result, the company will be transitioned to the "Normal Counter" of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) effective February 15, 2024.
To recall, PSX on January 29, 2024, notified that in case of failure of MDTL to rectify the non-compliance of PSX Regulation 5.11.1. (e), trading in the shares of MDTL shall be suspended with effect from the 15th trading day i.e. Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
However, the company has rectified the non-compliance of the said regulation within time.
The company has also been advised to ensure meticulous compliance with all applicable Rules and Regulations so that the interests of minority shareholders remain protected at all times.
