MCB Bank earns Rs18.1bn in three months

October 24, 2024 (MLN): MCB Bank Limited (PSX: MCB) reported a profit-after-tax (PAT) of Rs18.13 billion in the quarter ending September 2024, a decrease of 7.8% against Rs19.66 billion recorded in the same period of the previous year (SPLY).

That translates to an earnings per share of Rs15.27, higher than the analysts' estimates of Rs14.77 per share.

The bank also announced an interim cash dividend of Rs9 per share i.e. 90% for the nine months ended on September 30, 2024. This is in addition to an interim dividend(s) already paid at Rs18 per share i.e. 180%.
