Market Update - Index falls, Rupee Appreciates.

KSE100 Index fell 403.14 to close Friday’s first session at 31,417.40. Volume traded was at 60.36 million shares. Out of 262 traded companies only 48 were up with 205 being down with 9 unchanged. Volume leader was Fauji Cement with 6 million shares traded followed by D.G.K Cement and TRG Pakistan at 3.7 and 3.4 Million shares.
PKR Opened the session at 106.66/71 and appreciated to 104.40/45 before closing at 104.52/55.
The central bank injected Rs.1,263.95 billion in the market for 7 Days.
