Market on the brink of another halt as KSE-30 opens 6.97% lower

March 24, 2020 (MLN): The KSE-30 index has opened 6.97 percent lower on Tuesday, and is currently trading at 12,609 points.

The KSE-100 index, on the contrary, has opened 5.95 percent lower and is currently trading at 28,840-level.

It is to be noted that the Market will be halted if the KSE-30 index remains more than 5% down after 5 minutes.

Following a halt in the trading activity, all equity and equity-based derivative markets shall remain suspended for 120 minutes and shall reopen following a 5-minute pre-open session. All outstanding orders have been canceled.
