LUCK rises cement price by Rs400 per ton amid surging input cost

January 27, 2023 (MLN): The management of Lucky Cement Limited (LUCK) has increased cement price by Rs400 per ton and Rs20 per bag on offered rate with effect from January 30, 2023, a notice issued by the company showed.
The company stated, “The manufacturing cost of the cement Industry has increased manifold in the last few months due to continuous hikes in various Inputs.”
Furthermore, LUCK has been absorbing the major portion of these escalations, following our principle of providing the best value to our customers, the notification read.
Therefore, the management at LUCK is prompted to adjust price discounts for all institutional customers in the South Region.
