LOTCHEM resumes plant operations

May 02, 2023 (MLN): The management of Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (PSX: LOTCHEM) has resumed the company's plant operations from May 01, 2023, the company's filing on PSX showed today.

Earlier, on March 15, 2023, the company had to temporarily suspend its plant operations due to the current economic situation in the country and its impact on the availability of foreign exchange reserves.

The decision was a result of the inability of banks to open letters of credit for the import of raw materials.
