KSE Closing Bell - Index Gains 412 Points

KSE 100 Index ended the first session of 2016 with a 412.64 point gain to close at 33,228.95. The index remained positive throughout the session touching an intraday high of 33256.85 (+440.54 points or 1.34 Percent). Total volume improved to 124 million shares compared to 99 million from the previous session while Market Cap. increased by Rs.78 Billion. Total companies traded were 326 out of which 233 closed up, 73 closed down while 20 remained unchanged.
