KSE Closing Bell - Index Ends Week with low volumes and Small Gains

KSE 100 Index ended the week at 33,954.98 up 33.02 points. Total volume was 132 million shares compared to 145 million shares from yesterday's session. The index traded in a range of 215 points or 0.63% of previous close, it touched an intraday high of 34,015.18 (93.22) and low of 33,800.55 (-121.41).  Today's 33 point gain translated into a 9.7bn increase in the Index Market Cap. Total companies traded were 378 out of which 184 closed up, 169 closed down while 25 remained unchanged.

According to figures released by NCCPL Foreign Investors were net sellers by $5 Million and have been net sellers by $9 Million for the week.

Total Average daily volume for the week was 181m shares compared to 175m from last week and the index gained 118 points over previous weeks close of 33,843.18.
