KSE 100 Index ended the first session of the week 705.07 points or 2.14 percent down to close at 32,255.20. The index was positive for a brief period at the start of the session touching the intraday high of 32,994.19 (33.92) before it started to decline and hit the low of 32,195.31 (-764.96) points. Total traded volume was 142 million shares compared to 122 million from the previous session. Of the 345 companies traded, 46 closed up, 289 closed down while 10 closed unchanged. Of the top 30 traded companies, only 1 closed up, 28 were down while 1 was unchanged. Market Cap decreased by Rs.123bn.
