KSE Closing Bell - Index Closes Down 150 points

After gaining almost 1,400 Points in the previous five sessions, KSE100 index ended Tuesday's trading session at 34,031.78 down 152 points. The index had started the trading session negative and was quicky down 160 points before it recovered slightly, however it continued to fluctuate between positive and negative territory. The intraday trading range was 269 points or 0.8% of previous Close. The index touched a high of 34,279.42 (+95.5) and a low of 34,010.35 (-173.5). The total Volume traded was 239m shares compared to 195m from the previous session.
Total Companies traded were 394 out of which 144 closed up, 223 closed down while 27 remained unchanged. Market Capitalization decreased by 28 billion.
