KSE – 100 continues to make inroads upwards during the day as local investors’ inflows continue to help the market gained a significantly upward trajectory. The recent uptick has been witnessed by an increasing inflows in the Cement, Oil & Gas Scrips, and Commercial Bank Stocks.
Analysts continue to posit a weak economic outlook for the future of the economy in the next year as widening twin deficits, coupled with rising international oil prices might not allow the economy to grow at the same pace as during the last 4 years. However, on the other hand, the early harvest projects under the CPEC umbrella will help the country in smooth growth for the long-term. Pakistan’s new Finance Team must look at developing sustainable policies in the near future for a short term and long term fix to the economy.
