KP government spending over Rs7bln for uplift of irrigation system

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is spending more than Rs 7 billion for uplift of irrigation system in the province during the current financial year.

“The amount will be spent on 192 ongoing and 17 new projects,” official sources said.

The sources told that, “As many as 20 new small dams will be constructed in different parts of the province.”
