KOHC profits jump 43.65% to Rs5bn in FY22

September 26, 2022 (MLN): Kohat Cement (KOHC) announced results for FY22, wherein the company’s profit was up by 43.65% to Rs5.02bn, the company’s stock filings on the stock exchange showed.

In the filing, the company posted a profit after taxation (PAT) of Rs5.02bn up by 43.65% against the Rs3.50bn in FY21, translating into earnings per share of Rs25.01 against Rs17.41 in FY21.

The top line of the KOHC jumped to 36.66% to Rs32.88bn against Rs24.06bn in FY21. Gross profit up by 64.48% to Rs9.81bn against Rs5.97bn in FY21.

In FY22, profit before taxation (PBT) is up by 82.67% to Rs8.93bn against Rs4.89bn in FY21.
