Khaldoon Latif secures highest votes, no Zia Chishti in TRG Board

January 11, 2022 (MLN): TRG board has announced the election results of directors of TRG Group at the Annual General Meeting held today as per which Mr. Khaldoon Bin Latif from Faysal Asset Management secured highest votes, more than 504 million votes. 

Meanwhile, Mr. Farrukh Imdad from Hamdard Group and Mr. Hasnain Aslam from TRG Group obtained around 488mn and 486mn votes, respectively. 

Going by the election results, Mr. Waleed Tariq Saigol from Maple Leaf Group, Mr. John Leone and Mr Patrick McGinnis from TRG Group, Mr. Zafar Iqbal Sobani, Mr. Abid Hussain, Mr. Asad Nasir, and Mr. Suleman Lalani, from JS group are appointed as directors for the term of three years commencing on January 14, 2022.

It is pertinent to mention that individuals from JS Group won majority in the election. 

Meanwhile, Mr. Zia Chishti, the former CEO of Afiniti has not been elected as the director of TRG Pakistan.
