Jubilee General's Window Takaful invests millions in top companies' shares

April 26, 2023 (MLN): The shareholders of Jubilee General Insurance have authorized the investment of Jubilee General Window Takaful Operations, up to Rs3.5 million each by the Operators Fund and Rs6mn each by the Participants Fund, through the purchase of ordinary shares of five associated companies.

The companies include Cherat Packaging Limited (CPPL), Cherat Cement Company Limited (CHCC), Pakistan Cables Limited (PCAL), Meezan Bank Limited (MEBL), and International Steels Limited (ISL).

The said transaction will take place at the market price prevailing on the date of purchase, in one or more tranches within 3 years.
