JazzCash introduces Healthpass to digitize healthcare payments

September 26, 2018: Pakistan’s fastest growing mobile financial service provider JazzCash, in collaboration with Medicount, has introduced Healthpass - a free digital platform that supports Pakistanis from all backgrounds to improve their health expenditure management.

Healthpass allows consumers to find quality healthcare services nearby, with discounts of up to 20 percent on healthcare expenses if payment is done through JazzCash Quick Response (QR).

This special feature of the application frees up the consumers’ need to have physical cash readily available in their wallets as the medical bill is automatically deducted from JazzCash users' mobile wallets once they scan the QR code, promoting convenience and safety in online financial transactions.

Chief of Mobile Financial Services and Digital Officer at Jazz, Aamer Ejaz said the Company has a great ambition to roll this product out to other health care providers nationwide.

As of now, Healthpass is available at all branches of the renowned Islamabad Diagnostic Center and will soon be expanded to multiple cities through hundreds of health providers such as hospitals, labs and pharmacies.
