Intraday Report: The KSE-100 Index up by 556 pts

November 26, 2020 (MLN): Following an upsurge in global markets due to the rise in the international crude oil prices, the KSE-100 index opened higher as it has notched 556 points in the early trade session and is currently trading at 40,930-level [10:04 am].

The recent surge in oil prices has continued on Thursday after a surprise fall in US crude inventories, giving the rally more hopes that vaccines would eradicate the coronavirus epidemic and restore fuel demand.

So far Oil and Gas Exploration has captured the maximum gained, as it has contributed 197 points to the benchmark index, followed by Fertilizer with 64 points.

Company-wise, the scrips of OGDC, PPL, POL, ENGRO, HUBC and LUCK have gathered the maximum points.
