Indus Motor Company appoints new Chairman

June 30, 2020 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Indus Motor Company Limited, in their meeting held on June 26, 2020, has appointed Mr. Mohamedali R. Habib as the Chairman of the Company with effect from June 26, 2020.

Mohamedali R. Habib is one of the Founding Director of Indus Motor Company. He was an Executive Director of Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited from 2004 and served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank.

He also served as a Member on the Board of Thal Limited and Habib Insurance Company Limited. He was appointed as Joint-President & Division Head (Asia) & Member of General Management of Habib Bank AG Zurich in 2011.

The appointment of Mr. Mohamedali Habib shall fill the casual vacancy occurred due to the sad demise of Mr. Ali S. Habib, the founding Director and Chairman of the Company on April 17, 2020.
