IMF $6 billion package to help safeguard economic condition: Hafeez Sheikh

Jul 3: Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh on Wednesday stated that IMF bailout package of six billion dollars would help safeguard economic condition of the country.

In a statement, he further stated that bailout package approved by the IMF Executive Board would bring economic stability.

Meanwhile, the IMF said, that the loan facility of over six billion dollar would be provided over three years period.

The executive board had given approval of one billion dollar for this year which would be given forthwith.

The loan facility would help economic plan of Pakistan, besides improving the living standard of the people.
