Husein Sugar Mills renamed to Tariq Corporation

July 25, 2022 (MLN): After obtaining approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the name of Husein Sugar Mills has been changed to Tariq Corporation Limited, the company filing on PSX showed on Monday.

The change of name is subject to the condition that for a period of 90 days from the date of issue of the certificate, the company shall continue to mention its former name along with its new name outside of every office or place in which its business is carried on and in every document, a certificate issued by SECP read.

To recall, on March 1, 2022, the Board of Directors (BoD) of the company decided to change name of the company while on March 28, 2022, the shareholders resolved that the name of Husein Sugar Mills Limited wherever it occurs in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company be substituted by the name of  “Tariq Corporation Limited”.
