HUBCO via its subsidiary issues Islamic Shariah Compliant discounted Sukuk of Rs.6 bln

November 13, 2020 (MLN): The Hub Power Company Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary, Hub Power Holdings Limited, has executed and issued an Islamic Shariah compliant discounted Sukuk of Rs. 6,000 Million.

This Sukuk is partnered with Arif Habib Limited as its Arranger, Meezan Bank Limited as Shariah Advisor and is subscribed by financial institutions, investment companies and other eligible institutions.

According to the notice issued by the company to PSX, the purpose of this Sukuk is to finance the ongoing capital requirements of the company.
