Huawei unveils groundbreaking super app for Pakistan's digital transformation

March 19, 2024 (MLN): Huawei has designed a Super App that serves as a one-stop digital ecosystem connecting government services, service hotlines, providing health and education services and creating smart cities across Pakistan.

This was highlighted by the Huawei team led by Ethan Sun, CEO of Huawei Pakistan, during a meeting with the Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, in her office on Monday.

Both parties discussed various programs, initiatives and ICT infrastructure in the meeting. Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja shared the Ministry’s vision of digitalizing Pakistan, create opportunities for youth and leverage technology to build their capacity and achieve economic growth.

Ethan Sun said, "As a key stakeholder contributing to the digitalization of the economy and the country, Huawei is committed to creating a fully connected, intelligent world.”

The meeting was attended by Jahanzeb Rahim, Member Telecom, Mr. Faisal Ratyal, DG Telecom, Dr. Babar Majid Bhatti, CEO, NITB, Ahmed Bilal Masud, Director Subsidiary Board, Shahzad Rasheed, CEO Huawei Cloud, Yu Shaoning, Deputy CEO Public Affairs and Saad Talha Saeed, Director Public Affairs Government Relations Huawei.
