HBL wins Asia’s Best Bank Transformation Award for 2020

July 16, 2020 (MLN): Habib Bank Limited (HBL) takes Asia's best bank transformation accolade in this year's Euromoney Awards for Excellence.

To recall, last year, HBL was awarded Best Retail Bank at The Asian Banker International Excellence in Retail Financial Awards 2019.

HBL, Pakistan’s largest commercial bank, serves over 20 million customers with branch networking of more than 1,700. It shapes the future through a paradigm shift as ‘a technology company with a banking license’ and delivers innovative services to its customers through digital channels.

Last year, 2019, the bank had posted net profits of Rs 15.45 billion i.e. 24.6% higher than the same period of last year. The profitability of the bank went up primarily due to higher net interest income.
