HBL plans to launch subsidiary for agriculture sector development

July 19, 2023 (MLN): The management of Habib Bank Limited (PSX: HBL) has clarified to PSX that the bank intends to set up a subsidiary to promote the agriculture sector of Pakistan for which a detailed feasibility report has been finalized, the bank’s latest filing on PSX revealed.

This notice is issued with respect to the news article published/circulating in media, regarding establishing a subsidiary by HBL.

“The bank is currently in the process of obtaining all regulatory approvals required for incorporation of the said subsidiary,” the notice reads.

Moreover, upon receipt of the said approvals, the bank assures PSX to make relevant disclosures.
