HASCOL files petition against FBR for suspending its sales tax registration

May 3, 2019 (MLN): Following the clarification issued on April 30, 2019, Hascol Petroleum limited has filed a Constitution Petition before Sindh High Court against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), inter alia challenging the order issued by LTU Karachi for suspension of sales tax registration of the Company.

Upon directions of the Sindh high Court, the Commissioner-Inland Revenue, FBR has by order dated 3^rd May 2019 provisionally revoked the suspension of sales tax registration of the Company with immediate effect.

Consequently, the sales tax registration of the Company is operative and effective as of date.
