Habib Rice to invest Rs250m in Biomass Cogen Power Plant

September 24, 2024 (MLN): The board of Habib Rice Product Ltd (PSX: HRPL) has approved to purchase and install a Biomass Cogen Power and Steam Plant at a cost of approximately Rs250 million.

The company shared the development in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.

"The board is confident that the Biomass Cogen Power and Steam Plant will be a more reliable and cost effective energy solution," read the notice.
