Gun Fire near Pakistan Stock Exchange

June 29, 2020 (MLN): Heavy gun fire was reported in the vicinity of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

However, trading was continuing at the Exchange.

According to the latest updates, four terrorist and one policemen killed. While three perople were injured in the attack on the exchange.

Rangers and police took control of the PSX and are securing the area.

Informing about the incident via its official twitter handle, PSX said: ‘There was an attack on the PSX compound earlier today. The situation is still unfolding and management, with the help of security forces, is managing the security and controlling the situation. We will issue a more detailed statement in due course once the situation is under control and more details are known. For now, firing has stopped, and reinforcement are in place.’
