Govt revises profit rates for NPCs

February 20, 2025 (MLN): The federal government has revised the profit rates for Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPCs), effective immediately, as per the State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) Finance Department Circular Letter, dated February 20, 2025.

The updated rates, minimum investment requirements, and integral multiples are as follows:

These changes were formalized through Gazette Notifications No. S.R.O. 33(I)/2025 dated January 16, 2025, and S.R.O. 174(I)/2025 dated February 12, 2025.

The SBP has instructed all agent banks to implement these revised rates promptly.
