Govt lifts ban on flour exports

March 28, 2024 (MLN): The federal government has amended the Export Policy Order to permit the export of flour, said a notification issued by the Ministry of Commerce.

To note, wheat flour produced from wheat that has been imported specifically for the purpose of export, would be eligible for export.

"Export of wheat flour manufactured from wheat imported solely for export under the Export Facilitation Scheme, 2021," a Statutory Regulatory Order (SRO) issued said.
