Govt focusing to enhance exports: Finance Minister

In an interview with a private news channel, he said the government is also planning to give interest-free loans to different sectors.

Shaukat Tarin said due to the prudent policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the country's economy is significantly flourishing and maintained a growth ratio even during the tough time of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Finance Minister said during the current month, the government will provide 125 billion rupees direct subsidy to the masses.

He said the government also provided relief to six million poor families through the 'Ehsaas Programme'.

Shaukat Tarin said the government will soon start a programme to provide technical assistance to each member of a family to curb the issue of unemployment.
