Govt commits to supporting athletes with special needs: FinMin

February 23, 2025 (MLN): The government is committed to promoting inclusivity and supporting athletes with special needs.

This was stated by the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb while addressing the audience as the Chief Guest at the 1st Faysal Bank SOP Unified Marathon Lahore 2025.

In his speech, he emphasized the importance of inclusivity and the need to support athletes with special needs, according to the press release issued today.

As a token of appreciation for his commitment to this cause, he received an honorary shield from Yousaf Hussain, CEO of Faysal Bank, in recognition of his efforts to promote inclusivity in sports.

Furthermore, he actively participated in the event by distributing prizes and medals among the winners of the marathon.

The event was a celebration of inclusivity and sportsmanship, bringing together athletes from diverse backgrounds and fostering a spirit of unity and perseverance.
