Government to raise Petroleum Prices by 1st May, 2018

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed an increase in petroleum product prices in the range of Rs. 3 to Rs. 7 per liter effective next month.

The petroleum product prices are expected to see some changes from May 1, 2018, the decision in this regard would be taken in the evening today and new price would be effective from midnight.

OGRA has proposed increase of high speed diesel price by Rs 5.02 per liter to Rs 101.47 per liter,     Motor Gasoline Price suggested to Rs 89.22 per liter from Rs 86 per liter, showing an increase of Rs 3.22.

Similarly, the authority has recommended a price increase of kerosene oil and light diesel oil by Rs 6.97 and Rs 6.95 per liter to Rs 83.43 and Rs 72.25 per liter respectively.
