Government borrowing from state bank in 10 months has risen by 52 percent.

• Borrowing during July 2017 to April 2018 amounted to Rs 1316 billion
• Borrowing during July 2016 to April 2017 amounted to Rs 864 billion
• Private sector borrowing during the period falls four percent
• Credit to private sector amounted to 498 billion rupees during July to April period
• Credit to private sector during the preceding year same period was Rs 517 bilion
