March 28, 2019 (MLN): Gold prices on Thursday remained steady at $1,309.71 per ounce, after touching a one-week low earlier in the session, mainly pressured by a robust dollar.

However, Palladium prices fell to a more than 5-week low as apprehensions about the global economy as well as strong dollar impelled the investors to indulge in profit-taking.

Spot palladium fell 0.7 percent to $1,433.88 per ounce at 0356 GMT.
