Gold rates surge by Rs1,300 per tola

January 25, 2023 (MLN): The price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion market moved up by Rs1,300 per tola to Rs190,600 per tola on Wednesday, the data issued by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association showed.

As per the data, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs1,115 and was traded at Rs163,409 while the 10gm 22k gold was recorded at Rs149,791.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat and 10-gram silver clocked in at Rs2,100 and Rs1,800.41, respectively, the association reported.

Precious gold in the international market decreased by $13 and was traded at $1,925, and the silver rate stood at $23.40, it added.
