Gold rates jump by a whopping Rs3,300 per tola on Thursday

November 11, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices rose on Thursday, as the price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion jumped by Rs3,300 to close at Rs129,100 per tola.

According to data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also surged by Rs2,829 and was traded at Rs110,682 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs101,459 against Rs98,865 reported yesterday.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver also inflated by Rs40 and Rs 34.30 to settle at Rs1,480 and Rs1,268.86 respectively.

In the international market, the gold rate soared to $1,863 an ounce, up by $38 DoD, as a big jump in U.S. inflation pushed investors towards the safety of bullion.
