Gold rates dip by Rs200 to Rs126,000 per tola

December 29, 2021 (MLN): The price for 24-karat gold falls by Rs200, to close at Rs126, 000 per tola- according to data revealed by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association today.

Similarly, the price for 10-gram of 24k gold also declined by Rs171, to close at Rs108,025. Meanwhile, 10-gram 22k gold traded at Rs99,023.

On the other hand, 24k silver remained stagnant as it traded at Rs1,460 per tola, alongside 10gm of 24k silver which stood at Rs1,251.71.

Internationally, gold witnessed a decline of $21, closing at $1,796 per ounce. This decline can be attributed to the dollar rising by 0.1%, increasing the cost of gold for buyers. However, silver was traded at $23 per ounce.
