Gold rate falls to Rs 112,900 per tola

January 14, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices fell in international markets as yields of US Treasury bonds and the dollar moved higher. The gold prices came down by US $16 and traded at US $1,839 per ounce while silver was valued at US $25.20 an ounce.

In the domestic market, the price of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs 500 to Rs 112,900 per tola on Thursday against the price of Rs 113,400 per tola reported yesterday.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs 428 to Rs 96,794 against the price of Rs 97,222 reported the previous day.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karat silver tola and 10-gram silver tola remained static at Rs 1,300 and Rs 1,114.54, respectively.
