Gold prices rise slightly in Pakistan amid global stability

February 27, 2024 (MLN): Domestic bullion continued the upward journey on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold ticking up to Rs215,900 per tola, a gain of Rs100.

As per the Karachi Sarafa Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold was registered at Rs185,100, witnessing a Rs86 rise.

While 10-gram 22-karat gold stood at Rs169,674.

Conversely, silver prices remained unchanged today, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,570 per tola and Rs2,203.36 per 10-gram.

Globally, international spot gold traded near $2,036.26, up by 0.26% on the day.

Meanwhile, international spot silver stood around $22.63, up by 0.58% on the day.

The latest Fed minutes have signaled that most US officials are in no rush to cut rates.
