Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs600 per tola

March 24, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs318,600 per tola, up Rs600.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs273,148 after a gain of Rs515, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs250,394 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,475 per tola and Rs2,979 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,010 an ounce, down $14.6 or 0.48% from the previous session.

Gold prices dropped on Monday as the dollar touched an over two-week high, while investors took stock of U.S. President Donald Trump's more cautious stance on tariffs against trading partners.
