Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs500 per tola

March 12, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs306,500 per tola, up Rs500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs262,774 after a gain of Rs429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs240,884 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,440 per tola (+Rs52) and Rs2,949 per 10-gram (+Rs45).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,916 an ounce, up $0.5 or 0.02% from the previous session.

Gold prices held were little changed on Wednesday, with the market's attention on U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff policies and an key U.S. inflation report due later in the day.
